My Journey in OBE

Building the FutureFit Educational Framework (FEF) for Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in Cambodian Higher Education

“Like learning to ride a bike: you only truly understand it once you start moving.”

My background is not originally in Education, yet I have seen firsthand the necessity of shifting from a model of what we teach to a profound focus on what our students can actually do. To bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world impact, we are developing a comprehensive FutureFit Educational Framework (FEF) for OBE in Cambodian Higher Education.

This initiative is more than a set of standards, it is a roadmap for empowering the next generation of professionals, researchers, and leaders. By aligning curriculum design, practical field applications, and immersive, laboratory-based learning with clear, measurable competencies, we can ensure that every student graduates ready to solve complex global challenges.

My own journey with OBE began with just a basic understanding, but through a process of learning by doing, I have evolved into an active adopter, framework writer, practitioner, and a leading catalyst for educational transformation at the university level. We invite you to contribute your expertise, share your institutional experiences, and join a global community dedicated to purposeful, outcome-driven learning.
