• Expertise: Dr. Srean holds a PhD in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability (Spain) and currently serves as a Vice-Rector for Agriculture, Food Processing, Science, and Technology at the National University of Battambang in Cambodia.
• Research focus: His research focuses on improving soil health and promoting sustainable intensification of agriculture, particularly for smallholder farmers. This includes areas like:
  • Reduced tillage practices
  • Conservation of crop residues
  • Strengthening informal seed systems
  • Promoting underutilized crops
  • Management of invasive pests
